A CBS Television Series Female Detective Drama The show ran for only one season on CBS. It has since played in syndication on TNT Network. "There were many great opportunities for special make-ups on the series 'Under Suspicion.' One of my favorites was in the episode about a killer who scalps his victims. In addition to creating the scalps for set dressing, we see the victims in several scenes."
The soap is added to the hair in sections, drying it with a hair dryer as you go. When finished, it lays the hair down flat against the scalp. You could also use a hair resin, like 'Gafquat' or 'Gantrez.' A little hair is laid around the edge of the soaped area to blend it back into the real hair. Then, add some mortician's wax to the front of the soaped area to create a 'cut' line above the forehead. Some blood for the finishing touch and you're done! "Marnie, the actress playing the victim was thrilled with her make-up. So much so that when we wrapped filming on her last day at midnight, she decided to wear it home to show it off. Later she told me she had crept into the bed of her boyfriend when he was asleep and woke him up. Talk about your rude awakenings!!" -- E. Larry
In the episode, the body is taken to the corner, played by Doug Baldwin. He is asked to do a reconstructive sculpture on the skull.
