CENTURY LINK CUSTOMERS: Make sure you have a Century Link email address, otherwise you won't be able to SEND your oregoncoast.com email! (you must edit the Advanced TAB and the Outgoing Server TAB in order to send email using Century Link's DSL) 1.) click on the Advanced tab: set the Incoming server port to 25, Outgoing server to 587
Click OK, return to ACCOUNTS, highlight the oregoncoast.com email address AGAIN, click on Properties Click on Outgoing Server, select: My server rrequires authentication click on Settings BUTTON:
3.) Your account name (your Century Link email address) must be entered here:
Click OK, you're done! MAKE SURE you exit immediately, do NOT force the email program to function, that is, try to send mail! EXIT first!!!!
