Charter customers using an oregoncoast.com email address must use the Charter outgoing mail server.


Click on Tools

Accounts

Highlight your
oregoncoast.com account

click on:

Properties button

 

Click on Servers TAB

change the outgoing mail server to SMTP.charter.net

click OK!

Charter Internet help

You must have a Charter email address to do this, so make sure you have one.

 


Now, click on the Advanced screen and change the port numbers. Click OK, close all the windows and restart your email program.
