Comcast customers using an oregoncoast.com email address must use "authentication" and here is an easy way to configure the account so the email can be sent when connected to Comcast:


Click on Tools

Accounts

Highlight your
oregoncoast.com account

click on:

Properties button

 

Click on Servers TAB

click in the box "My server requires authentication"

click on Settings

Click on "Log on using"

enter your account name (NOT your email address, just the first half, before the "@")

enter the password, select SAVE PASSWORD

Click OK!
