When first installing Thunderbird you will see this screen. Proceed, click to Accept and continue to click Next.

| Don't change the destination folder |

| Keep the boxes checked |  |
Allow the program to create the new folder and begin the installation

| Choose if you wish to import messages from another email program |  |
| Type your name and email address |  |
Click on Manual Setup The account name is ALWAYS the first part of the email address, NEVER include the "@" |

Click OK, you're done!

| Clear the Newsgroups box and the Always perform box | Click on Tools, Options or Tools, Account settings to check on your settings at a later date  |
