This is one of the most exuberant, intricate, and entertaining stories about intrepid Tintin, faithful Snowy, the dumbfounded detectives Thomson & Thompson, with a short appearance by Captain Haddock. The international array of characters includes dignitaries, terrorists and nefarious villains, scientists with both good and bad intentions, persuasive merchants, inscrutable servants, & a wealth of shady characters. The story begins when a mischievous stubborn child, Prince Abdullah, is kidnapped, and his doting father asks for Tintin's help in saving him.
