Activities and Attractions

Activities abound in and around the Oceanside and Netarts Areas. Walk the entire sandy beach from Oceanside to Netarts Bay. Watch the crab boats or bring your own boat. During low tide you can walk around the point near the Three Arch Rocks National Wildlife Refuge and enjoy the rock formations and tide-pools.

Hike on numerous trails along the nearby hillsides. Nearby attractions include the Cape Meares Lighthouse and Octopus Tree. Cape Lookout has many nature trails as does Bay ocean Peninsula.

Find art galleries, antique shops, wonderful coffee shops, and family restaurants in the nearby towns of Oceanside and Netarts and Tillamook.

Cape Kiwanda, Dunes State Park, Tillamook Cheese Factory, Garibaldi (boat charters and rentals), Latimer Quilt and Textile Museum, the Pioneer Museum, the Air Museum, and the Whiskey Creek Fish Hatchery are all within a short drive of  "SEA SWEET".

Crabbing, claming, fishing, aerial tours, windsurfing, canoeing, kayaking, surfing, bike riding, wildlife watching (including whales, seals, sea lions, birds, raccoons, deer and elk), horse back riding, blackberry picking, and golfing are all available within nearby area.

Just enjoy the view, read a book or watch a video from our library or enjoy the view from your own private deck. Watch the waves spray Three Arch Rocks, whales passing by, sea lions resting on the rocks, hangliders leaping off Maxwell Mountain, and storms roll in from the horizon. A unique experience can be yours.
