From the Wedding feast of Cana Mary's message has always been the same; "This is my son.  Do what he tells you to do".

Armed with the power of The Father, the Wisdom of the Son, and the Love of the Holy Spirit, Mary leads us through the Mysteries of God's plan to Salvation by way of the Rosary.

For a more in depth understanding of the Rosary see Pope John II's Apostolic Letter "Rosarium Virginis Mariae"

How to Pray the Rosary

1.  Beginning with the Crucifix Make the Sign of the cross and say the Apostles Creed.

2.  On the first large bead proceeding from the crucifix say the "Our Father".

3.  On the next three smaller beads say a "Hail Mary", for an increase in the virtues of Faith, Love, and Hope.

4.  Announce the first Mystery and then say the "Our Father".   (Option: reading of a meditation on the Mystery before the "Our Father")

5.  Say ten Hail Marys on the ten small beads (called a decade - ten beads).

6.  At the finish of the ten "Hail Marys" (first decade) say the "Glory Be to the Father" prayer.

9.  Announce the Fourth Mystery and say the Our Father (repeat steps 5 & 6)

10. Announce the Fifth Mystery and say the Our Father (repeat steps 5 & 6)

11.  At the end of the 5th decade you may choose to proceed to the next set of mysteries and pray them all or just pray one mystery of the Rosary a day.

Apostles Creed
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, the Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord:  Who was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.  He descended into hell.  The third day He arose again from the dead.   He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty, whence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.   I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting.   Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, Hollowed be thy Name.  Thy Kingdom Come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.  Amen.
