DNS changes - Vista XP DNS configuration click HERE Others may require the DNS server numbers to be configured. Please follow the steps below to make sure your computer settings reflect the following TCP/IP settings. This is very easy to do once you open Control Panel: Make sure your laptop wireless switch is turned ON.
Open Control Panel - click on Switch to Classic View
Open Network and Sharing Center
Click on VIEW STATUS for the Local Area Connection
Click on the Properties button
Click to highlight Internet Protocol version 4 then click on the Properties button
Click Obtain IP address automatically and Obtain DNS server address automatically
If this does NOT solve the problem insert the following numbers in the DNS server address. (You will have to click on the second radio button to allow the entries to be made)
