Saving your address book (Netscape) 1. Open up the address book window (in Netscape Communicator , see the top task bar, it will say File Edit View Go. Click on Communicator then go down to Address Book) 2. Click on File, and you will see a drop down menu. 3. Go down to "Save as" and this will open up your save window. 4. Make sure to select which drive and folder you want your address book saved to. I like to save my address book to a floppy just for safe keeping. If you would like to do the same, click on the arrow button where it says "save in" and look for the a: drive. (floppy drive) 5. File name will be address and the type of file will be html file. I save my bookmarks, and address book on the same disk. If my bookmarks will fit on one floppy, anyone's will. :-) Outlook Express 1. Click on File -> Export -> Address Book I like to save my address book in a folder named AAASave, this way I can easily find it. |
